Much like the ][777][ at the end of many members names in memory of Gemini777 DragonEye, the [722] is in memory of Shred722, the captain of ][STA][s old Halo 2 division. Last year, on August 29th, Shred passed away due to complications with his Cystic Fibrosis. Although your time with ][STA][ was short, your impact upon the clan was monumental, and your contributions were appreciated.
Rest in Peace ][STA][Shred722.
Hybrid writes " We are happy to announce a new game division to Strike Team Alpha. Throughout the days of TF2 we have grown and become a large community with many valuable members. With great interest in branching out to another game, we will sit down and take the time to discuss the responsibilities and outlook of a successful division. Therefore a new DoD:Source division was decided upon to expand our community. We are putting our trust and resources into members that are going to head up the division, MexicanBob and Elm. Their responsibilities and duties as the new divisional leaders will be a tough task. From recruiting new STA members to fill the DoD division, maintaining a successful server, to possibly entering a competitive ladder.
So what does this mean for the rest of the STA community and members? This means we will be sharing STA with new members brought in by DoD. But it doesn’t limit us to just playing the game we were recruited in. You are always welcome to join our other divisional server(s) when they arrive and have fun. In fact, for the first month or so, you would be doing the DoD leaders a great help by filling the DoD server and making us more appealing to DoD players looking for a clan, help get the division off it’s feet.
To wrap everything up for the ones that are not fond of reading. Day of Defeat: Source is now officially a new division of Strike Team Alpha, headed up by our two new DoD divisional leaders MexicaBob and Elm.
